  2. woah here we go! London Eye πŸ™‚ believe me, last week I took tonnes of pics of London eye but arrrggghhhhhh when I tried to copy it on to the laptop, I nudged the card reader by accident and the mem card’s copper links permanently damaged πŸ˜₯ lost nearly 249 shots πŸ˜₯ anyway, sorry abt my sad story, well you can bypass the use of tripod in certain cases Tania, especially in low light conditions. Boost up the ISO value (between 5000 to Hi 2). This will compensate wiv ur shutter speed (you can have more than 1/800 which will allow you to hold the cam in hands). The downside is, there will be a lotta noise in the pic but using ‘remove noise’ feature in Photoshop/Lightroom , you can easily get rid of it! Nice shot by the way! Keep’em coming πŸ™‚

    • Oh noooo! Suren, so sorry to hear about your memory card….how frustrating! I hope you can re-take some of them? Although if they were taken riding the London Eye you might need to re-mortgage your house first! Haha. Anyway, thanks so much for the tips – actually very useful for me and I will definitely give that a go. I had watched a tutorial about ISO for low light shots but I didn’t know how to compensate for the noise so it’s very handy to know what I can experiment with in Photoshop πŸ™‚ Thank you so much! Great advice πŸ™‚
