I like to explore….
No sign of the elusive Moose but basked in the glory of the boastful Moon instead 🙂
Beautiful. The colors of the first one are extraordinary.
Thank you very much 🙂
It’s been a while, welcome back.
Hello Ian, yes it has. Hard to keep it up but new year and all…..! Happy new year to you! 🙂
We visited friends near Crawford Bay when we were on holiday from the suburban Greater Toronto Area (via CN rail to Calgary). Four (often bored) teenagers in tow in a rented Ford van. Our Kootenay friends were building their house there out of stone. One taught, one was a geologist when he could find work and ran the dump. They raised llamas. I was so impressed by the beauty of that rainforest area and grateful that our children learned that there were other ways in which to live. After Banff, Jasper etc. we drove across the Rockies to Victoria and took CN back from Vancouver. It was the late 80’s and the railroad was under some threat of closing one or more lines. Surprised at how much the kids enjoyed 5 days (2 to Calgary; 3 back from Vancouver) on a train. Thanks for visiting my site. Love your blog’s style.
Wow that sounds such a great trip! We stayed at my boyfriend’s sister-in-laws dairy farm ‘Kootenay Meadows’ in Creston. It’s such a beautiful place 🙂
Thank you for the compliment, I will be following you so I can see what other adventures you’re on!
