Oh Wow! Looks sculpted and pin sharp throughout. A stunning shot, Tania. Speaking as a bit of a perfectionist I think I would use the spot healing brush to eliminate those two tiny yellow blemishes Lt hand side. Because the image is otherwise so perfect they just catch my eye. But Bravo – one of your best.
Thank you!! I think you are absolutely right, thank you for suggesting it. If I ever get it printed I will do this because, as you say, it is a shame to have distraction from the leafs otherwise flawless form and colour 🙂
Just fabulous – that has to be one of the most wonderful greens in nature, glowing with the light. And the geometry of the pattern of veins … just beautiful. 🙂
I admire your eye for seeing this wonderful artwork in this leaf – and capturing it in a great photo. So beautiful. And very inspiring for us, who would probably never have discovered this………….
Thanks Truels….such a lovely thing to say as well. Nature is always providing me with such inspiration….the artwork is already there to be captured as you say! 🙂
Kew Gardens is one of my favorite parks close to where i grew up-Mortlake. My Mum used to take me and my sister there once a week when we were little. Lovely shot of the leaf by the way 🙂
Wow, I have never seen a leaf looking like this! Great shot!! It looks like it was poured into the frame and solidified…
Oh fabulous way to describe it John!! I love that marbled effect too – it does look fluid as you say. Thank you! 🙂
Awesome. Love the detail!
Thank you Kevin! Much appreciated
that’s a great shot!
Thank you very much!
xo
So exotically green..LOVE IT!
Greens really do it for me….this sunlit one I just want to carry in my head constantly. I don’t think I could ever feel down again! Thank you
Love this Tania ~ very abstract and eclectic… needs a frame 🙂
Thanks Robyn 🙂
Amazing close~up of detail that others would never notice. I like that.
I really appreciate this, thank you 🙂
Wow! This is one extraordinary shot of a leaf!!!!
Thanks!! I thought I’d let this not-so-humble leaf have it’s moment in the sunlight for all to see 🙂
Wonderful!
Thank you!!
your image does justice to this plant’s beauty, Tania. bravo : )
Ah thanks Marc, glad you think so!!

Yes, it always makes me smile and feel very optimistic.
