  1. this post touched me . it was up nepal’s annapurna mountain that i looked out and saw a person far, far away and looking much smaller than an ant. we are very small, i concluded. and extremely transitory.

    by the same token, we are the greatest thing. and life, however short, is the greatest gift we could have been given
