Thank you Mimo!

Of course not, it would be a compliment! You should send me a link so I can check it out when you’re done 🙂
not a soul in sight! except you (by inference) behind the lens. lovely.
Thank you! It was certainly serene…..
Desolate but so romantic.
I love a bit of romance 😉
Thank you very much!
This is beyond gorgeous 🙂
Glad you think so 🙂
Brilliant! I notice that there is a Copyright stamped on the photo. Is it possible to re-post on my blog northernblogosphere.com?
I am happy for you to re-blog!! It is a compliment afterall 🙂 the copyright is just to protect my work and identify it as mine. It’s nice that you would like to share it. Thank you for asking and hope you are having a lovely weekend!
Lovely! I’ll do that. In fact I’ve never re-posted before! You’re the first, but I kind of fell in love with the landscape and the skies in this photo! Beautiful!
Well I am honoured, thank you! 🙂
Oh – and a lovely weekend to you too, Tania!
Thank you! 🙂
Stunning landscape and a great shot too!
I can see how it gets its name.
Everything about this photo speaks louder than any words can express!
Ah what a lovely comment, thank you!
I love the sheer emptiness of the place. Is it a drying lake, forming a salt plane? I couldn’t find much information on it, to be honest.
You are right I think – this one was wet and the Flamingos seemed to love breeding there – it was when I’d just visited Salar de Uyuni which is the largest salt flat in the world which has a thick, dry crust of salt and a pool of brine underneath (formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes). If this one dried out, it would also be a salt flat like that one too. These lakes are often pretty pastel shades but smell very bad. I’m glad you like the image, thank you 🙂
Beautiful yet bleak at the same time. Nice shot.
Love the depth in this shot and it is oh so sharp. Oozes serenity.
Thanks David, the landscape is quite different there to any i have seen before…..the colours and shapes. I’m glad you like it 🙂
Wow. all I can think of to say.
I am happy with wow!! 🙂
I’ve never been there but the landscape of Bolivia always looks amazing
It really is – very different from anywhere else and very beautiful 🙂
Fantastic landscape! And the sky with the clouds is nice.
I have been here -I loved it!
It is soooo beautiful, right?!
amazing picture! It makes me wish I could go there to see it.
Thanks Nick, I want to be there again too!
