    • Thanks Bashar….there were loads of these white bits embedded in the rocks in this distinctive shape so I thought it could be a specific kind of shell too or mineral deposits but in the end I concluded that I at least knew that they were aesthetically pleasing and shot-worthy 😉

    • Someone else suggested Cuttlefish remains which it does look like (especially the shape of that bottom left piece) but I was surprised at how many there were (I didn’t know that that many would die in the same place) plus I can’t understand how they got embedded in the rock face?……interesting! Thanks Russell, nice to have you back 🙂

      • maybe in time past a cuttlefish predator used to catch and eat them in that area and the remains collected there. As to how they got embedded, it looks like a sediment rock that has built up and condensed over time, some types of soft rock can build up quite quickly
