I like to explore….
Thanks Bruno! You are from Croatia? I would love to visit as soon as I can – I want to see the Plitvice Lakes….have you seen them? 🙂
Sorry for the late reply. Of course I’ve seen them. I think they’re the most pretty during the “real”, snowy winter – all these magnificent waterfalls covered in ice and snow. In case you visit my country, you should also see the waterfalls of a river Krka (another National Park). I, myself, prefer National Park “Risnjak”, because I’m so into black, evergreen forests and hills. Where are you from, Tania? 🙂
How interesting Bruno, thank you! I will definitely heed your advice when I visit 🙂 I am living in England (London now but originally Nottingham where Robin Hood was from!) I heard also from fellow travellers from Croatia that the sea is warm there? Is this true too?
Nottingham, of course I know of Nottingham. I’ve even named my book character (one lord) after Nottingham. Yup, the Adriatic Sea is warm, especially if compared to northern seas. 😉 But cold if compared to the Black Sea. Of course, I will give you any advice concerning my land, just let me know. Btw, I don’t like this part of Europe (Mediterranean climate, Balkan peninsula in general), I have always dreamed to migrate into northern lands (Scandinavia, U.K.). Too bad that Croatia isn’t part of EU.
Gr8 photo.. breathtaking view…
Thanks Zee! Hope you are having a lovely weekend 🙂
Yeah almost.. with the exams on my head it’s a bit diluted tho. 🙂
Oh bless your cottons! It will all be worth it in the end 🙂 Chocolate breaks help with revision anyway 😉
Yeah.. 🙂 🙂 Chocolate of course is a wonderful consolation.
Looks so empty without the Twin Towers, sad.
I never visited when the twin towers were there….it is very sad, the emptiness is always there as I reminder too I guess
Yup, that’s what it looks like.
Taken from the Staten Island ferry or Liberty Island?
Haha – are you from New York? Thanks. Yes this was the ferry we took to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island…New York is a pretty cool place. I hope you are having a nice Easter-Eve 😉
Reminds me of pickles, tightly packed into a jar sans the brine… 🙂
Reminds me of my trip to New York last August.
Hope to be back there again.
Thanks Tania, for making me nostalgic of the place.
You are most welcome! I get nostalgic looking at my photographs too – isn’t it amazing how they evoke feelings so powerfully?! 🙂
Nice picture of the densely packed city in the flat light, and that empty grey sky above.
Thanks! I really like your name Mr Donald Diddams by the way – I like how it rolls off the tongue 😉 Thank you for your thoughts!
I could like any picture of New York at any time!
There are certainly some iconic views! 🙂
Very Nice 🙂
Thank you Bashar 🙂
back in the good old USA 🙂
Could have been a lovely shot of the sky– is it too late to delete those intrusive building thingees?
Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog this morning. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as clean as when I arrived.
