I like to explore….
what a stunning photo 🙂
love this TJS, the reflection and ripples are stunning. Fantastic composition. f/?
works so well in B&W
Beautiful photo…and you are quite the traveler…how do you manage to cover the known world as you do with your photos? 🙂
Do I presume correctly that we’re seeing the roof reflection in that water? Whatever it is, I like it.
Hehee, yes Russel you’re 100% spot on 🙂 I’m glad you like it – it is a gorgeous structure and those lines reflected produced a nice contrast with the organic form of the lillies / lilly pads. Thanks for commenting!
Like the composition – works well with black and white.
Amazing, gorgeous, perfection!
Hey thanks Kabrina 🙂 lovely of you to say!
Nice. You have reminded me that b/w photos can be exotic and mysterious. I have many photos that I have taken that would look great in b/w.
Yes! For me I definitely find that certain images just ‘pop’ in black and white – it somehow makes you focus in on texture and pattern / structure more which are themes I particularly enjoy. Thanks for your comment!
I love this picture! Thanks for sharing!
I’m really pleased you like it 🙂
Very nice Tania. The reflection on the still water almost makes a photo within a photo.
Thanks 🙂 – I enjoy that the reflection in the water is almost bolder than the physical things floating on it as well
Great choice for black and white processing. So sharp and crisp. Love it!
Great black and white. Good composition.
Thank you very much 🙂
🙂 glad you think so! Thank you….
NIcely done. The only criticism I can think of is that the flower on the top left side is not completely in the picture. Otherwise great photograph!!
I totally agree (I was hoping no-one would notice, hehee 😉 ) It was one of those annoying things you notice later…but now I know for next time! Thanks again for your comments
This has such wonderful shades of gray and strong patterns. Altogether lovely. And the top left flower isn’t distracting to me. Love it!
You’re very kind Dave 🙂 thank you for your lovely comments! Tan
Great mixture of the lily elements and the dark reflection of the bars. Really great photo you’ve captured here!
Thanks for swinging by the 50mm Experiment. I hope that you participate in one of the upcoming challenges. Next one will be posted this coming Friday!
Hi Matt, thank you – firstly for stopping by to say hello and secondly for the lovely comment! I will certainly check out your site again 🙂
